Billy uses technology in your phone called geofencing to know whether you're home or not. If this isn't working for you, please follow these steps:
Check your settings in the Billy app
- In the Billy app, open up Settings
and tap Geofencing.
If you don't see the geofencing option, please make sure you are logged in with the right email address. Geofencing is only available to the person who has Billy in their home. - On this screen, please make sure Enable Geofencing is turned on:
Check your phone location settings
For iPhone:
- Open the Settings app
- Scroll down and tap Billy
- Make sure that Location is set to "Always"
For Android:
- Open the Settings app
- Tap Apps
- Tap Billy
- Tap Permissions
- Make sure Location is turned on
